Why does a discussion post disappear?

Genuine question. Do people actually have the power to pay to have any discussion thread post deleted? I literally posted something last night super late that was not inappropriate nor about rankings. It was advice for rushing...? Is this normal for posts to disappear? I can’t imagine someone would actually pay to have a harmless post taken down, so I’m a bit confused.

This def was not a repeat post though. It was straightforward and I even got 5 replies, and then it just disappeared when I woke up this morning. I never see other posts deleted??

Idk then but i know you can’t get posts deleted by paying, you can only get replies deleted

It’s not having power to pay anybody who wants to can pay to report a post and have it taken down. And yeah sometimes I’ll notice my comments get deleted even if I think they’re uncontroversial
