like its really this simple. yes you can break them up into tiers but generally speaking this is how it is here.

but most girls would take an aphi bid over an aopi or dg bid lol. especially a girl who likes to go out and is trendy

I’m sure you do want DG or AOpi above APhi, but also bet at the beginning of recruitment DG and AOpi weren’t your top two.
Point with APhi is whether YOU hate them or not (and a lot of girls “hate” them), plenty of PNMs want them as their top two or three from the beginning.
The OPs “lower” houses just don’t have such a draw.
As such, I’d put ADPi with the lower houses. It’s a decent house in the end, but no one has them ranked top three after IWT.

I think this is true for recruitment at the beginning of the year, except I wouldn't call it good and bad, I'd call it "desirable" and "not desirable" for PNMs.
That being said, I know a lot of girls who as they got older and more mature, saw how the girls in their "good" house treated each other, and now they look back and wish they had given houses like DG and AOPi, who are genuine and not catty, a more open mind during rush.
NOT saying they necessarily would have chosen dg/aopi over a house like pm/zeta, just that they wish they hadn't written the nice but not as trendy/relevant houses off as quickly.

Honestly.... Yes.
I preffed one house from the "good" list and one from the "bad", and I chose the "good" one without a second thought, simply because it was a very acceptable and desirable house to join. Now I have a lot of good friends in the other house, and while I don't exactly regret my decision because I love my house, I do wish I took more time to consider the actual girls in the "bad" one and not just write it off because they weren't as popular with other PNMs, because it's definitely possible I would have been just as happy if not happier in that one.

You guys are fooling yourselves. Every house has an equal mix of personalities and drama and people who don't get along. Also it is impossible for you to know exactly how people get along in other houses when you aren't in that house. Stop making up stuff to make your lower tier houses sound better than what they actually are.

Way to miss the whole point. They never said they'd go back and have chosen a lower house over their own, but that they wish they had had a more open mind during rush knowing what they know now. Not a difficult concept.

I agree. I think this is an accurate list based on recruitment, but once you get into the greek system you see that the undesirable houses during recruitment still have great things to offer, and the more desirable ones are not all that perfect. As a PNM I totally would have rather gone Aphi than DG, but now as a junior, I think I'd go DG.

Dummy, what is the difference??? You said you wished you were more open minded during rush.... that's basically saying you wish you went somewhere else....if you are completely satisfied / happy with the house that u got then wouldn't have been a need to more open minded in the past...

There was no judgement, people are stating the obvious, there are good houses and bad houses and its the truth.............seems like someone is embarrassed their house is on the bad house
