It’s crazy how KD’s date party made the national news but no one is speaking on it here

probably because KDs date party wasn’t a big deal and shouldn’t have been blasted in the first place. Half the sorority couldn’t bring dates and it was split up by times so that everyone would have been there at different times

Panhellenic approved their plans, the were permitted a liquor license and it says both in the article.

Anyone else find it weird that KD was called out by TMZ? Like of all sorority houses across the country... a house in Alabama full of hicks made the news?

Like, a story calling out all the houses, or at least a group of them, would’ve made sense, but why specifically KD?

probably bc multiple other houses have had date parties and most girls are just glad it wasn’t their house that got put on blast by the national news.

But it just makes for a juicier news story when the mayor’s daughter is a member of the house ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not saying it’s any different than any other house. Just that “sorority of mayor’s daughter planned 600 person party with city’s approval” sounds more scandalous than just “alabama sorority”.
