Living in house regrets?

by: conflicted

Anybody ever regret living in their house? I’ve only heard the opposite side, that girls regret moving off campus instead of living in the house sophomore year. Just wondering if any of y’all wish you hadn’t lived in.

With everything going on I am SO glad I live in house this year. But honestly if this year was "normal" I think I'd prefer to live off campus. I've never had my own room🤣🤣🤣🤣. (3 sisters and 2 brothers. )

I think everyone should live in house at least for a year if they get the chance though

You expect us to believe you've never had your own room but can afford dues here. Yeah ok

What a weird thing to get so upset over Haha. People can have large familes and enough money to go around. Most people don't have enough rooms for SIX kids to all have their own.

@op girls very very rarely regret living in house. The things that kinda suck at the time are the things you miss when its over. Also they are literally beautiful mega mansions. In my house it's kinda competitive to even get the option.

Doubtful this a Pnm or freshman but ok
Are you super social? Do you love dorm life? Are you the type to always have friends around. Is your sorority the biggest part of your college identity? If so then living in the house is awesome.

Do you need quiet time to yourself? Do you have lots of friends in other houses or not Greek at all? Then obviously you will hate living in house.

Also there is nothing wrong with being either type of girl. Me personally I hated even sharing a bathroom in prez tbh.

Idk if I would say I regret it because it was a cool experience and there were definitely some great perks, like all of the snacks and having the perfect place to study right downstairs. It was super convenient. But I didn’t like sharing a room. And the biggest thing for me was the rules. No boys ever, no alcohol, no smoking weed. These all make sense but it sucked feeling like I couldn’t do anything. If you’re not into that then it probably won’t be as big of a deal

I don’t regret it, but the whole time I was living in the house I couldn’t wait to move out

Graduated '19. My parents had this awful rule. Dorm or sorority house until I turned 21 (so basically just my senior year). After 2 years in-house I was so so ready to have a private room and PRIVATE BATHROOM!

It's impossible to live in your sorority house for more than one year!

Loved living in my house so much! Wouldn’t trade the experience for anything. You can live alone after you graduate. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend it!

It was nice at first but than sucked. Too many rules on who could visit and much cheaper to live off campus. We had bad exec who searched rooms to mess with us and kicked out girls to get their friends in. We just had a bad house so may be different in others.
