I need help deciding to rush.

by: Girly

So I am transferring after 2 years of community college and I really really want to rush so bad but by the time I transfer somewhere else I’ll be a junior. I don’t know where I want to transfer to yet but I just want to know if rushing as a junior is worth it anywhere? I thought maybe bama will be brutally honest.

Rushing as a junior would be super tough I honestly wouldn’t do it. Maybe if you know someone well in a house get to know their friends as well and try to cob. You can still do formal rush but don’t expect to be picky with houses

don't expect to be picky with houses but there are a few that will take you as a junior. I know some SK, adpi, gphi, aopi and set who rushed as juniors, but that's not all. just try it out because why not

Yes don’t expect to be picky but that should be true for most girls going into rush. If you’re cute and a good conversationalist you will have a good shot at a number of houses. It would be worth trying. There was a 27 year old theta a few years ago btw so junior is really not that old. I don’t think they would even know unless they looked into it (I mean the girls rushing you, not the house/exec) because you would just have a name tag that matched the sophomores rushing. They don’t have a different one for juniors

Definitely rush if you want to, it doesn’t hurt to try! I knew a girl who rushed who was technically a junior (she spent two years at a community college and got an associates) and she ended up in DG. I also know of another girl rushed after being in the military for a few years and she got a house.

If you have have a good profile (good grades, involvement, cute, etc) then you’ll def get a house.
