Outrageous behavior
by: DudeOut of curiosity, how much money do your parents give you?
#4 by: Me
$150 from mom and $150 from dad (divorced). I have an occasional part-time job I make between $200-$500 depending on how many hours worked. My student loans cover all the important stuff like tuition, room and board, etc. My dad pays for my car payments (roughly $200 pm) and my mom pays for my phone bill and insurances.

My parents pay for my OOS tuition, book, apartment, car, insurances, gas, travel, sorority, and give me $250 a week in spending money. My mom set up my apartment and stocks up my refrigerator when she visits. I have a family credit card to buy clothes or get my hair or nails done, once in awhile, and I ask them before if it’s ok. My parents told me it’s my job to get my degree. I have a 4.0.

I know I'm in the minority but here My scholarship makes tuition less than in state rates. My car is moms hand me down SUV, I picked a cheaper apartment ($399 includes ultilies). Parents pay all my set expenses. Lifeguard during the summer and work a few days a month at a boutique. If I need some extra like hair or clothes, they will move money in my acount if I'm running short. On the other hand my best friend has a brandnew everything, her rent in $800 and just swipes her credit card as much as she wants. Parents have a beach house in South Floroda and a ski chalet in Jackson Hole. A few times shes just paid for air fare for 5 or 6 people to go, like its nothing.
