How Limited Will My Options Be?

by: curious

I am from far oor with no connections at bama. I will (likely) have a 4.0, I’m dance team captain, business club president, asb leadership role, ~ 300 volunteer hours. I will also get rec letters for all houses. I have a semi cute insta & am decent looking (seems superficial but i’ve been told it matters haha). I’m also pretty outgoing/rush convos should go well. That said, how limited will my options be at UA? What houses specifically? I’m deciding between here + an instate school where my options wouldn’t be limited, so any opinions/advice would be super helpful :)

If you’re cute and cool they’ll hardly be limited

Yes I know girls in both of those houses from far oor. Everybody loves to act like OR discriminates but they don’t. I’m from far OOR and had two OR houses at pref. I wasn’t dropped by more OR than NR for sure but I was kept by I think four OR houses total? I think I was a pretty solid pnm with good social skills and common sense of how to go about rush. Nothing special though. Conversations matter more than your resume unless you’re a grade risk

Sorry, I WAS dropped by more OR than NR. They’re harder to get into than NR (generally not always) especially being out of state but it’s 100% possible

bama has good enough merit aid to the point that it costs almost the same as an instate state school for me :)
