Paying for sorority as an out of state student

by: LOL

How do people pay for out of state tuition and then sorority costs? I’m generally curious because I’m thinking of doing so.

There are a lot of scholarships the school offers that, some of which are actually pretty easy to get if you’re a slightly above average student in high school. Besides that, a lot of people take out loans.

Do not, let me repeat this, Do not take out loans to be in a sorority. Yeah it’s fun and all, but crippling debt is not. You will get nothing out of it worth that. Get a job and work part time or something. A lot of girls do that. If you are in HS, get a job now or over the summer, but taking loans is insane.

Sure there are girls from oos, 3.2 gpa who's parents just pay for everything. They probably live in the nicest apartments/houses and have new cars.
And girls who are hear practically for free and pay for dues on their own and have loans.

But most of us are in the middle.
Personally my parents will only pay a certain amount for college. We budget together my plans. Like the cheaper my living arrangments and car, the less I have to make over the summer and during the year. I'm also fortunate to have a pretty decent scholarship.
