y’all drag houses for taking girls based on looks but when other houses take girls based off of money they’re considered top (private school = money). lmao.

It’s not that private school = money.
Its more that it shows that the family is able to fulfill costly financial expectations for an extended time period(ex. Private school tuition, sorority dues, etc.)
A lot of private schools have a very high number of girls who rush, so their families are fully aware of the cost associated with being Greek at Alabama and have no problem paying it for 4 years.

Or someone in the house didn’t like you. Or not enough alumni support.
I know girls with subpar grades from those three schools who have perfect recruitments.

The girls with subpar grades usually have good friends in those houses. Anyone under like a 3.3 needs an active to write a letter justifying their poor gpa and it has to be approved by nationals, exec, and possibly even the whole chapter. Those girls probably liked her just fine, maybe not enough to go through all that troubke tho

It’s 100% true I used to be a kappa. Hard 3.3 cut off and anyone under needs a letter vouching for them and explaining why their grades were low

Ok I’m not even from the south let alone Alabama or mobile but mobile is not a slum. There are some really cute nice areas. It’s on the water so it’s better than any other city in AL
