Spring Rush , revisited
by: HeySo now does everyone think we should have had spring rush? We were warned on here that things would go to carry out food and no parties. The blind house advisors on here said it was all about keeping the house going financially, and not the experience of the girls. The Moms of actives on here said it would be great just to have sisterhood. Well, now we are all locked down and not having sisterhood, events, food, or any experience. Why? Bc we had actives return without testing, parents and friends show up on bid day when they were told not to, girls in every sorority gather without masks, no social distancing, etc etc etc. Was that worth it? The houses have their money but there’s a lot of bad blood going on. Spring may not be better ... but it would have allowed for a better chance of a successful fall on campus. Very sad!

It’s the parents. They had no business hanging around on bid day. Then they were all up in the bars and restaurants all over the strip. The ones who weren’t loaded were taking pictures and clutching their pearls because of masks and crowds. They ruined it for all of us trying to relive their college days. Sad.

If you think this will only last two weeks you probably shouldn’t even be in college. We are going home in two weeks
