Alpha Gam cares about their Birmingham girls and everyone else is just a filler for them. New members, who are not from Birmingham, are alienated immediately following recruitment and they feel it. Do not join this sorority if you are from oos... they will pretend to want you during rush but then lose interest in you immediately after.

Truth! I was one. I never felt included or wanted there. At the bid day retreat it became crystal clear that it was two groups: the Birmingham girls and then anyone else. Many of us felt it. It never got better. Alpha Gam wins top grades at making everyone who isn't in the 13th grade, from their select Bham area high schools, feel second rate.

They didn’t get very many top girls at all. One of my friends that’s an AGD snapped me crying the morning they read bid lists bc she said that they only got top girls from Huntsville and Tuscaloosa.... everyone else is yikes
