houses that killed rush this year
by: yeahthese houses got all the top PNMs and some really good other new gems: XO, DDD, ZTA, PM. i haven’t seen any top girls go anywhere else!!! good job!

No seriously Zeta didn’t. Last year they got a really strong PC but this year they took a notable step back and you can tell on Instagram. Every house has up and down years, it’s not the end of the world, but it’s the truth. Doesn’t mean they’re not a good house or didn’t get any good girls, but they pulled a ton from their second list.

Yep. I am sure they did well because they are Zeta, but last year they made some of the old row houses feel some pain... too a pnm or two from the likes of Kappa. This year did not happen like that. So they kinda reverted to how they usually do, which is top of new row, but not a serious challenger to old row (there are always isolated exceptions...)

How can you tell based off of Instagram? I keep hearing you can’t base orgs off of looks?

For most houses you can’t, but looks based houses’ whole rep relies on recruiting hot girls, not where they’re from, who they know, zip code, involvement etc. Zeta’s PC this year is not that cute, especially compared to some past PCs. It’s different than looking at say Chi O or Alpha Chi, who are more focused on the aforementioned things. Looks will be a factor, but not the main draw. If other houses have a down year, it’s harder to tell from just insta pics.
Note: This is not to hype up AXO or XO, only point out they recruit differently, not necessarily better.

Okay, keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better ❤️ These four houses dominated and cross-rushed a lot more this year than in years past. Obviously greek like here at Alabama is amazing and every house has wonderful members. Congrats everyone!
