by: uh oh here comes trouble

saw the article in NY Times today. Not a good look girls! Y'all partying is hurting it for the rest of us. We see you. Listen to the boys. Keep it quieter if u need to party. Stop getting media attention. Seriously you're going to ruin it for us all.

I read the article too, and Alabama is mentioned in the first paragraph with the accurate comment that we had recruitment this weekend. It mentions the bars being crowded but no one was wearing their letters, so they actually have no proof that any of them were greek (although I'm sure some were). Why would we be worried about this?

You must be really desperate for something to make fun of us for?

The only thing they got right was it was recruitment this weekend. Sorority girls at bars On bid day?! Does not happen and oh during recruitment - literally the past 8 days - actives & PNMs are not allowed at bars. Show the proof all the people in the photos are parents. FAKE NEWS

even though I think it's a valid point. Nobody is calling out the boys, they're behaving themselves. Ladies y'all need to chill lmao. Don't talk to the press about partying ESPECIALLY if you're underage.

The NYT article falsely assumes, without evidence, that persons photographed were in Tuscaloosa and were not wearing masks. A clear mask trend has taken root in the metro area.

Photographed without evidence? The photograph is evidence. It was obviously in Tuscaloosa and I’m sure the source of the pic confirmed that with the author. Not sure if I’m missing something but I do not understand what you’re getting at here
