Any advice?????
by: PnmI have my top house and told them I loved them and see myself with them. They also told me they loved me and how much of a connection we have. My other house is “new” to campus (kind of obvious who) but they asked me back for pref. I’ve been trying to drop them but they keep inviting me back. The conversations I’ve had with them haven’t been interesting and have been boring. I don’t feel like I had a connection with any of the girls in the house. I really don’t want to receive a bid from them. What exactly should I do?

You should get over this idea that your other house is boring and that you're doing THEM a favor by gracing them with your presence. Maybe the girls you've talked to aren't the best recruiters, but they're probably amazing girls and they saw something in you. No one is obligated to give you a bid; if you get a bid to their house you should be honored and give it a shot. It would be doing yourself a disservice to go all the way through recruitment and then not give the house that gives you a bid a try. They just might surprise you outside of a recruitment setting.

It's not a good attitude to have that you've been "trying to drop them." It makes you seem entitled tbh. There are a billion threads right now about suicide biding. If you do you are not eligible for a quota addition, meaning no bid if you aren't high enough on the 1st house's list. People down play the benefit of being in a "new" chapter. There will be more leadership opportunities and you and the new pledge class get to help shape the future of the chapter far more than in other chapters.
Rome wasn't built in a day and neither are relationships. I agree with ^^^ post, but ultimately it is your choice if you are willing to risk being bidless
