Coming here next year

Hi I might be coming here next year and I’m thinking About rushing but idk if I will get into a house.... I’m from downtown Chicago I have a high gpa and I went to a really competitive high school, I don’t come from money and no one in my
family is in Greek life I wasn’t super popular in hs (idk if that matters) and I was really involved in sports and my robotics club and I did some service work though my church
Will in not get in because I’m from the north and I’m not super Christian and like all that or can I get a house?

There is a place for everyone here at bama. Only about 10% of girls who rush don't get a bid, and that's usually because of bad grades, no involvement in clubs/sports etc at high school, or the recruitment teams could tell they were rushing for the wrong reasons. I have a friend who was OOR, didn't have any family/friends in greek life and she still got a bid and is very happy today. Not only are there girls from all over the country but there's even a couple international girls so where you're from won't affect whether you get a bid or not. Obviously you need to be able to afford fees. Just focus on your grades and involvement in activities and enjoy your last year of high school.
