Genuine question

Are girls in sororities allowed to post on social media things like drinking/partying/etc ?? I see girls all of the time posting tik toks or instagram posts w alcohol so I was just wondering if it’s not considered a big deal. Idk sometimes things like that are big sometimes they aren’t so I was just curious

Its not a big deal until it becomes a big deal. I know that’s not a great answer but it’s the best I can describe it. There will be times we post stuff with cans or solo cups and no one bats an eye, but some chapters judiciary boards can use it as a n excuse to get you in their door. Not like maliciously (at least in my chapter) but it will seriously be fine then all of a sudden you’re getting called in to talk about it. Sometimes it’s your chapters national offices fault too bc they have people on payroll to monitor social media.

Also depends on the sorority. Some are more restrictive than others about what you post on your personal social media. For some, it's photos from sorority events or with letters in them that they are more concerned about.
