Fraternity bid process
by: 2025How do you get a bid from a fraternity? Should you be going to events in the spring? Is the bid extended the same day or is it done on a certain day?

You get a bid by going to a rush event and talking to a lot of the guys and either an active or the rush chair decides to give u a bid. Make sure you visit houses in the fall or spring but you have to reach out to someone you know in the frat or their rush chair. Normally you can hold your bid until the middle of august but it depends on the rush chair.

well if u get a bid from a house u fw you don't have to visit in the summer but basically yeah.
