legacy chances?

I'm a sophomore alpha chi legacy from the north w a 3.8 college gpa & was extremely involved during high school.
looks wise I'm brunette and painfully thin, I'm outgoing & easily carry a conversation. I'd love to join my mom's house (obviously keeping an open mind, but this would be super cool for me!) being from the north & rushing as a sophomore, would this hurt me? does legacy status help me in this case?

Dear No, you are correct in that the term “drop” is not technically accurate. The “accidental forgetting” of a legacy after pref enables the chapter to put a preffed legacy at such a low order on the bid list that they effectively ensure the pnm will not receive a bid unless it is a worst case scenario for the chapter. I only know about adpi, not any other sorority.

That's BS. All houses have their own legacy policies, but no one is "dropped" after pref, they are ordered on a bid list.
