GPA ADVICE 2020

I’ve seen a lot of posts regarding low high school GPAs:
If you have a high school GPA below a 3.0, you need to expect a lot of cuts. This doesn’t mean the girls rushing you don’t like you, it means houses have gpa requirements and if you don’t meet them you will be dropped regardless of how much someone liked you. (A lot of houses are well over the 3.0 requirement as well!!)
My best advice is to do well during freshman year and rush as a sophomore (which has it’s own benefits!) By then you’ll have more of a feel for house stereotypes and you might have made friends in specific houses that can pull for you!
There’s nothing wrong with rushing as a sophomore! It’s definitely better than rushing as a freshman and getting dropped by every house or ending up in a house you don’t love.
