out of state bids

by: Nickname

I’m considering rushing from out of state and was wondering if certain fraternities won’t give me bids due to the fact I am from out of state. Also does tradition matter and if so for what fraternities.

Look at the online IFC brochure. It shows in-state vs out-of-state percents. Your OOS chances line up with those percents. As to tradition, almost all have been here 100+ years. The brochure gives founding date.
Don't believe the bs posted on here.

Also look at the UA Greek Grade Report. It gives chapter size. Fall report gives pledge class size. The IFC brochure and the grade reports are the only truthful, objective information you'll find.

Also realize that for the top 10 or 12 fraternities, you need to visit and get a bid in the spring, well before school is out. Formal rush when school starts is too late. It's all over by then.
