can out of state transfer students run for sga?

I will be transferring here this fall and I plan on getting involved with a sorority and then running for an SGA position. Will that be feasible for me?

That smacks of "let me teach all you rednecks how to do it." Transfer, wait a year, make tons of friends, and then, and only then, run for an office.
