top ten
by: top ten
So I went through the entire top 10 thread and this is the most accurate ranking that I have found. If you don't agree with it, I am sorry, it's just the cold hard truth about modern-day greek life at Bama. I'm not saying the sororities at the bottom of the list are bad sororities at all, it is just that some sororities are stronger than others!
1. AXO
2. Phi Mu
3. ZTA
4. KD
5. XO
6. Kappa
7. DDD
8. Pi Phi
9. AOII
10. AGD
11.ADPi
12.Aphi
13.DZ
14.Theta
15.DG
16. GPhi

Most of the people posting on here are not in college. They're moms and alums that are trying to influence the PNMs who happen to see this site. Yeah, I know, it's sick but true. One of my friends saw his mom's computer when she was in the kitchen and she was writing a post about the ranking of sororities at Bama. PNMs should know this and know that anything written on here is wrong, prolly by a couple of decades!
#14 by: If
If you're looking at the bottom houses, I'm just going to say that in my opinion, gamma phi isn't the bottom house any more. I think they've had two classes of really good girls and are on their way to moving up.
btw.. I'm not one and not trying to start a way. Just sayin.
#16 by: When
When PNMs go through recruitment, gamma phi is the last house they wanna see on their party card every day. Sorry but that's the way it is. I remember as a pnm I went through rush with the mentality "any house is fine just not gamma phi". I'm not saying the ladies of gamma phi are bad, I'm just saying that that's the perception.
#17 by: maybe
I think that's what older people thought but when went through I thought that they were better than I'd been told. I didn't want them because of other people's perception and tent talk but they really were pretty amazing girls. Since then I've gotten to know some (not from Alabama girls, by the way) and they're great. So I just thought I'd throw this out there that they're definitely moving up.

I would probably agree with top. Not so much bottom. I think it's going to be surprising in the next 2 years how much the old row/new row popularity changes. With more OOS students (paying OOS tuition) than instate I think it old vs new wont matter. Maybe with fraternities but certainly not sororities
