Just because I wanna know... What are everyone's (pnm's opinion) favorite houses going into rush?!

Alpha Phi

Are we counting WV, MD etc as the south or the north? Technically they're below the mason dixon line but I'd consider them the north.... I think.

I considered these states as in the South: GA, TX, FL, NC, KY, VA, LA, SC, MS, TN. All others were put in the "other" category. These listed southern states provide the majority of OOS new pledges. Thus, Arkansas and Missouri (although some would consider southern) were put in the "other" category because there were not enough heads to count in order to make a difference.

I'm a PNM from the north and I actually want houses with lots of southern girls. I came to alabama to be immersed in southern culture not to avoid it. I LOVE tradition.

I'm from the North and although I want southern tradition, I dont want to be one of less than 10 in a house (of which probably most are legacies). I think this is a great discussion with real numbers. There is a peception that "everyone" wants to be in those few top houses and maybe that is true with southern girls but I think its obvious that "northern" it may not be as important.

There is no such thing as a bottom house at Alabama. What is "bottom" at Alabama would smoke top houses on other campuses.
