what were the gpa requirements this year???

I’m a sophomore who rushed with a 2.7 GPA and I didn’t get invited back to any of the houses I really liked and ultimately dropped out of rush... do I have an extremely low gpa? Is that why I got dropped? I’m still upset and wondering what went wrong. I really wanted to join a house

Panhellenic was pretty specific on grades this year. I'm pretty sure this is a weird troll post, because anyone going through recruitment would know that.

Yes, your GPA is very low. Sophomores with 3.5+ will have the most options if everything else about them is equal. Under 3.0 is grade risk almost everywhere. Between 3.0-3.5 is iffy.

Basically, if your GPA is below every single chapter’s average GPA, you’re a huge grade risk.

Also, if you really wanted to join a house, you should never have dropped out. PNM’s with bad grades can’t be picky. Especially sophomores.

I’m in an OR house known for having top grades and The way we make cuts is, 3.0 or over you’re in the clear if everything else is good, and under a 3.0 will get you dropped automatically, your recommendation won’t even be read.
