@Mom, you and your daughter should hold the stupid freshman girls who broke the rules accountable for ruining the first semester for their entire new member class. You're still raising your daughter even though she has gone away to college; teach her that if she wants to be in an organization, or hold down a job, or not get arrested, that the rules and consequences get a lot bigger as you get older.

Pretty sure if you're caught with alcohol in any dorm you are in trouble with the school, sorority or not. And if you're lucky enough to get a bid to a sorority here and be told by them not to drink, and then go do it anyway, in your dorm, you have to be more than double stupid.

i can tell by the huge turnout on GR that the envy and and hatred for others is over the top. amazing how girls love to tear down others. probably the same group that continuously self-ranks on here. anywho, kkg will weather the storm.

i know for a fact many beautiful, smart, social girls without qr's were dropped by kappa in sisterhood and pref. Even sophomores, who they could already see had a successful first year academically and without questionable behavior and who would have been a better guarantee than any freshman were not invited to sisterhood or pref. Maybe kappa should have thought a bit better about who they brought to the pref round as it puts the whole sorority at risk.

Some jealous or misinformed person(s) called in some girls in Tut. The whole group of new members were put on temporary suspension until the university and nationals could investigate. It took about 10 days and they realized it was a huge farce. Kappa was able to continue with swaps and date parties as planned, albeit one. Being able to report anonymously is both a blessing and a curse.

My daughter is a kappa legacy by me,and was cut after say 3 of rushing. Her friends who were ticketed prior to rush for underage drinking with a fake ID and charged with public intoxication and now need attorneys, were all welcomed back to kappa for preference. I'd say kappa has low standards and I'm ashamed I was part of kappa myself
