why
by: :(I’m in a new house here on campus I’m a freshman and I picked my house because they have a rep of being a pretty good house and having very nice girls. Well my pledge class really does not seem like the current actives i got to know during rush. They’re not friendly and don’t go out of their way to talk to others. They stick to their cliques and its frustrating as someone who wants to make friends and is outgoing. I can’t lie I’m kinda disappointed, I wanted to love this house but now I feel like I just made a mistake

Kid, you've been there, what? Three whole days? Gosh, and I'll bet the actives aren't running up to you and fawning over you.
You're having recruitment hangover. Happens to everybody.
For a week you're the focus of every sorority girl at every house, your mom is texting you constantly, your friend want to know what's happening....then you pledge, and BOOM!
Where'd my fan club go?
Give it time. Go to the house and eat meals as much as you can. Don't wait for somebody to talk to you - go talk to them. Ask directions, ask what's for supper, ask where the bathroom is.
Friendship takes time, even in sorority houses.
Relax...you'll be fine.

Then, get off Greek Rank and talk to someone that can actually help you. No one here can.
