is it just me?

Anyone else noticing that it’s not as much that OR flopped as it is they had to branch out because a surprisingly low amount of in state tops came through this year? The ones that did spread out more instead of concentrating on a few houses. I feel like so many quality girls went to Auburn and OR got some really cute pcs for the most part, but they had to change things up. I do think this will change though as the University has shifted its focus back to in state and increased OOS tuition costs and scholarship requirements. This year in general less stand out PNMs came through, even OOS. I don’t think anyone got a particularly AMAZING pc this year as a result, although everyone got a good one, and some did better than others. This isn’t meant to bash anyone, proud of all our actives and new members for making it through recruitment!

Thank you for sharing your opinion. I was really concerned about what anonymous people on an anonymous site thought.

Agree fewer in-state tops from areas like Mobile and Montgomery, which hurts KD, Kappa, DDD-- and they have done an okay job dealing with it. Kappa and DDD more than KD, but KD seems to be finally getting with the program. There were still plenty from Birmingham and there is a growth happening from Madison County and other areas up in north Alabama.
