It's primarily merit-based interviews but the Machine can intervene and block anyone who they may deem as a "threat." But the Machine has very little intervention in Panhellenic Exec Board because there's very little agenda pushing... Like it's not the same thing as SGA where people can push for certain changes in campus politics. SGA's higher up is the Machine whereas Panhellenic's higher up is NPC.

Yeah because the whole school knows the name of the homecoming queen and the machine wants it to be a Greek girl. The difference here is that pan x is obviously already all Greek

Also, Homecoming Queen pushes an agenda. From what I know, she runs on a platform of ideals and the Machine can use that to push their own stuff.

There was a Theta this year and a Theta last year, so obviously not being machine affiliated doesn’t mean you can’t get Pan X. I’d say it’s much more, like basically anything on campus, about knowing the right people
