sisterhood day
by: curiousCurious how many houses everyone got back for sisterhood day today. I'm feeling a little discouraged as I had a huge drop in number of houses (from 9 to 3).

I disagree with you on sk. The last thing they would want to do is have a pledge class full of grade risks. Building a chapter is going to take a lot of time, hard work, and dedication and if girls underachieved in high school they may be overwhelmed with classes too much.

I'm not excited to go back to aopi & am torn between Gphi & ZTA. I have had great conversations and experiences at both houses throughout the week. What are the pros/cons for these houses?

I had three super different houses at pref and my rho chi told me to pay attention to the other PNMs at the party and waiting in line with me as they will be my pledge class. it didn't make it a ton easier, but it was at least one more thing to consider

Don’t assume to will have two for pref. If you do—Just follow your heart and instincts. Don’t over analyze

Ravenclaw is still on my schedule. I honestly thought they'd drop me, but I guess my good grades are keeping me around.
I got Slytherin and Gryffindor back too, so that's still confusing. A lot of girls in my group are having a blast visiting Hufflepuff. I'm so sad that they aren't on my list anymore, but I think my connections to Slytherin scared them. Too bad. I'm trying to keep an open mind. I wish they would have as well.

^^^ agreeing with STF up girl here. Actives should be helping not demeaning and mocking girls concerns. This is a tough process and can be confusing and heartbreaking. Stop with your ridiculous responses like this and act like an human. So easy to mock and write this stuff when you aren't the one going thru it. Just stop with the BS and encourage and help these girls like all actives should.

Yep. Anyone released can still get snapped or else take the golden opportunity to colonize SK. Personally, many pnms released for grades are really awesome and it’s sad the are disappointed. Many girls don’t really get it going academically till college. So SK can assemble an awesome PC from the awesome pnms that happened to under achieve academically in high school but are ready to make a new start in college. To me, this is they way SK should build. Quality first, high school grades not as important, and with a very dedicated internal academic support aspect.
