how do you tell a house that...

by: Questions

You love being there and talking to all of the actives in that house, you’re super excited to be there, etc, naturally in a conversation so it doesn’t seem desperate?

There's ways to be low key, when they invite you back show your enthusiasm. I thought it was cute when a girl told me she was super excited to be there. just say something like "I'm so happy to be back!" when she says "welcome to XYZ". I only got weirded out when a PNM told me, during IWT, before we had even started a conversation, how much she loved my house, wanted to be in my house, and that her friend had told her to take a special look at my house. That was over the top and too much. I think she was dropped after IWTs. However, I don't think it's desperate to tell a girl that you're excited to be back.

There's a way to do it in a conversation that flows naturally. If an active says welcome back, if they ask how recruitment is going so far, if they ask how your day is, etc it's totally okay to say something like "I was so excited to see XYZ back on my schedule today, because I really enjoyed my time here yesterday" or mention something specific that excited you about the house. If you're talking about philanthropy, mention how you enjoy seeing how passionate they are about it or what it means to you personally. If you're in sisterhood, talk about the strong bonds you see, the fun activities you've heard about, the support you are looking for in a chapter. If your reasons are genuine and from the heart, an active will LOVE to hear it!

now that its sisterhood round the actives will most likely ask you if you have any questions or ask you what you're looking for in a sisterhood and you can just say that you can really tell they have a strong bond and that you can see yourself fitting in, you can even maybe throw in that it reminds you of the friendships you have with your best friends back home (but don't say it creepily haha) good luck though!!!! no matter what you'll love the house you end up in
