rush clothes pet peeves

anything that stands out in a bad way, if you’re on this site asking questions you’re probably fine. If an active remembers your outfit it’s probably not a good thing lol, most girls’ dresses blend together

I'm from OOS/OOR and in an old row sorority but I think my biggest pet peeve is when you can tell someone's clothes aren't authentic to who they are. "Dress to impress" is one thing, and you want to show you know how to dress appropriately, but you'll feel more confident and comfortable in clothes that reflect your true style, and we'll notice it. I had a PNM a few years ago who every day wore these crazy clothes but she owned it and we loved it because she was clearly being herself and feeling confident. This means for most people, nothing strapless/off the shoulder, nothing itchy, nothing too revealing because you don't want to be futzing with it all the time. You want the focus to be on you and your conversations, but if being edgy (within appropriate reason) is who you are, own it!

girly! the most important part of recruitment is to be yourself! If you wanna rock the earrings, then you should go for it :)

Classic fashion statements is always the best route when it comes to recruitment.

Not a clothing thing, but please don't wear perfume. So many girls together in close quarters all day long with clashing scents is a recipe for headaches. Some products are scented too and that's bad enough. Also, I might be distracted by it and only remember you for that and not our conversation and will down vote you because of that, especially if I don't like your choice!
