new houses

People have been posting that xyz house will kill it during rush this year because they have a new house. NEWS FLASH just about everyone has a new house. And if your house is barely getting a new house you were at a disadvantage in past years. So no you won’t be killing it solely on that, you will be in the same boat at the other 10+ houses.

i believe that by saying “kill it” they mean in comparison to their own past years, not in comparison to other houses. weird post.

Yeah unfortunately now that everyone has them it’s not really an advantage. Gamma phi got really lucky, they were probably the last chapter to actually have an advantage over their main competitors based on a new house

Yeah I think it is compared to the last few years. It’s true that having a new house is the standard so it doesn’t give them an advantage over other houses, it’s just they were at a disadvantage before.
Rushing out of a small house is loud and cramped, and it turns a lot of PNMs off
