rush predictions

Who I see trending up/ staying the same/ or trending down in their PCs. Not talking about the overall rank of the house, just how I see rush playing out for them.
Trending up:
AXO- last year was not their best PC and from what I’ve seen they alternate good and mediocre PCs every year so I think this will be a better year.
DDD- great PC last year and I see them having another year of fun girls with a good OOS appeal compared to other OR houses
Pi Phi- haven’t gotten much buzz the last two years without a house, so I see things being much better for them this year.
GPhi- surprisingly good PC last year and I think they’ll continue to appeal to fun OOS girls especially if APhi struggles. Hopefully they will try to get girls with good GPAs and avoid QRs more.
AOPi- the new house should be a big help during rush. I don’t think there will be too much hype around them but it will even the playing field
Staying the same
Phi Mu: not a bad thing, they had a good PC last year and staying the same means still being one of the top houses
DZ: new house will help but I think it will still be kind of a weird mix of girls who may or may not have actually wanted to end up there
KD/ Kappa: will stick to what they know, might be a little more focused on OOS though
Theta: probably will struggle during rush, but even if the girls aren’t happy on bid day they will probably end up with a lot of smart and involved girls who are very genuine
ADPi: will get nice girls who aren’t too exciting. Same old, same old
Zeta: will get hot party girls. If aphi struggles it will benefit them, but I think it’ll be the same type of girls they always go for
Trending down
APhi: scandals and lack of actives will hurt them. Nationals will also force them to avoid grade risks and QRs to avoid turning back into the same house, so they will suffer in the looks department
DG: their competition is getting better but they have stayed the same. Don’t appeal to any specific “type” so it ends up being a weird mix
XO/ AGD: need to start pulling quality OOS girls or they will not be able to keep up

There’s a lot less buzz this summer about Phi Mu and Alpha Chi than there was last summer. That whole feeling of forced perfection seems to be a turnoff to this recruitment class. I see the top PNMs heading towards the houses with more “chill” girls — Kappa, KD, DDD, XO, ADPi, DZ, PBP and GPB.

Maybe we're in the same groups, but it's the same in mine. No one's turned off by Phi Mu or AXO. Lots of girls want them as well as other houses.

I agree that as more OOS state girls come in a lot of them are more inclined to be somewhere “chill”. Some girls love and thrive off the “forced perfection” thing because they’d be really irritated if they were somewhere were people didn’t care about every little thing, but I think for people whose personality isn’t like that it just feels like they can’t relax

Yeah I’m very interested to see how things go for them and Pi Phi now that they’ll all be rushing out of new houses. I think houses that have been more complacent in the middle tier (looking at you ADPi and DG) will either need to step up their game or they’ll take a hit this year

I don't know where you are getting your information from, but Phi Mu and Alpha Chi are both mentioned (along with other houses depending on where they are from) as highly desirable in my groups.
And before you say it, no, it's not all in-state girls.
