no makeup?
by: pnmWill I be okay if I don't wear any face makeup, or will houses think that I'm lazy? I know that I'm going to sweat a lot because I don't do great in humidity lol, so would it just be better to not wear makeup when my skin is pretty good, or should I wear base even though I risk sweating it off?

Would you go makeup-less to a job interview, as a wedding guest or with a date? If the answer is no, then grab a tinted B.B. cream with SPF, a SPF powder to reapply during the day ( I use colorscience) some oil blotting sheets, and a coverup stick ( I use a fit me foundation stick for this) for spots. I did a natural eye with my naked pallet, a little eyeliner, some waterproof mascara, a bit of bronzer and blush, and a tinted lip balm. Some girls get lash extensions and just go without mascara (too expensive for me). I kept it very light and easy to freshen up in between houses ( try to avoid raccoon eye). Please put some polish on your nails (fingers and toes)! All of the other girls will be checking their makeup and teeth between houses, too, so you won’t feel awkward doing a bit of sprucing. Good luck!

Personally, the first day of rush i went light on my makeup. When I say light I mean foundation power blush mascara. I felt SO out of place because the girls around me had TONS of makeup on. The girls who ended up going zeta even had on fake eyelashes. If you're one of those people who won't feel inferior around girls who look beautifully caked up with makeup then you won't need to wear a lot, but I personally felt the need to

listen. if you have beautiful skin and you think wearing foundation will make it look worse, than dont wear it. we dont penalize girls who are naturally stunning and dont need a whole lot of makeup.. but with that being said you should still look put together. maybe just some powder, bronzer, eyeshadow and mascara.

If you’ve got good skin and are pretty, you honestly are much better off will very minimal makeup than a full face that you’re just going to sweat off.
I wouldn’t go NO makeup personally, but mascara, lip gloss or balm, brow gel, and maybe some powder to keep the shine down are really all you need if you don’t have to cover anything.
As someone said above, a lot of girls will be wearing a LOT of makeup, so if you’re going to feel out of place keep that in mind. But if you know you’ll feel more comfortable with a very natural look then 100% go that route. I know girls in my rho chi group who wore little to no makeup (they were admittedly very naturally pretty) and they looked great and had full schedules and ended up on top houses
