what to wear
by: Nervous PNMOk...I'm getting a little nervous about what to wear. I was told by an Auburn mom they are not allowed to wear Lilly Pulitzer during rush, I read no black or white or dark colors during rush...I need to know is Lilly ok and are dark colors acceptable? Should I stay away from prints or solids? Too many questions about what to wear! Read Panhelenic guidelines but still need clarity. Thanks.

Stay away from lily. I wouldnt wear dark colors, personally, but that’s a matter of preference.
The majority of girls will be wearing bright, solid colored dresses or summer dresses with patterns. White and black are both fine! It’s really more important that you are just wearing a dress that is nice enough and aren’t wearing anything too revealing.

definitely stay farrrrr away from lilly. wear stylish, bright dresses. if you want to wear a darker color dress, i would only do it for pref. think summer colors and trendy! more important to make sure you dress appropriately for each day, level of occasion wise (don’t wear a casual sundress on pref, etc)

Pref day last year I wore a kinda Low cut navy blue dress and I was fine. No house and I mean no house on pref day is going to cut you for what you wear. At that point the house ovi wants you and won't be like "did you see she wore a black dress, like how could she". So honestly I wouldn't worry about the color or anything. It's the last day and the day you tell the houses what you want. Again NO HOUSE WILL CUT YOU FOR WHAT YOU WEAR ON PREF.
