live in

What years to pledges gets to live in if they can
Pi Phi is sophomore year but DDD is senior year which sucks.
Anyone know the rest of the houses
I’m pretty sure alpha phi has to make their members live in which makes no sense to me
because it’s a pretty house

A lot of houses are junior/senior (including ddd) and a few allow sophomores. Living in house means you can’t have boys over/ pregame and stuff so a lot of girls choose not to

what is this post?

all houses are open to members of any pc to live in the house IF 1. they have openings and 2. the girl applying to live in meets the requirements

i know for my house, you have to have a certain gpa to live in house regardless of what grade you're in. and then beyond that, it's based on seniority, involvement, and good standing.

you’re in one house so how do you know this about every other house? Not all of us have trouble getting people to live in the house, so no, sophomores can’t live in the house.

Some houses are traditionally senior houses and so only a few select juniors (usually those on exec) get to live in because so many seniors take beds. I had an alpha gam friend who didn’t get in the house her junior year despite having a 4.0 and a room in the house paid for by her family. Kappa is sophomores.

Generally more social houses are filled with girls from all PCs because they have a tougher time filling the house and therefore it’s not as hard to get a spot. No boys or alcohol is a huge drawback for some girls. I also know several girls in different houses who lived in all three years so it really depends on the house.

I personally am in a house where girls aren’t as interested in living in and I liked living with all different PCs because I got to meet a ton of girls I wouldn’t have otherwise. While we do have to pressure girls to live in I think it works out for the best.

stfu. all houses go by virtually the same requirements for deciding who gets to live in house. it's based primarily on seniority, if your house has a large influx of seniors who want to live in house then yeah it's going to take away spots from underclassmen. it's not that sophomores "can't" live in house, it's just there aren't any spots.

If year after year there are zero spots for sophomores, then effectively you cannot live in as a sophomore. It may not be a rule but the outcome is the same. I assume OP just wanted to know what is realistic for each house which is valid as they all vary due to interest.

I’m sure they meant can’t live in because of seniority
DDD is near impossible to live in until you’re a senior because of demand
I have also heard alpha gam is near impossible to live in
What is Phi Mu

That’s because Alpha Gam and Tri Delt were in the first set of houses to rebuild and they’re not as big and don’t have as much capacity as the newer houses do.

Alpha gam and Tri Delt both sleep mid 60’s which is pretty average. If they are all seniors and juniors that means their demand is still really high even though they have a few less spots.

This is info that can be found elsewhere. Just a veiled attempt to bash Aphi about things that don't even make sense. I guess after stupid post after stupid post, eventually you've gonna reach.

You did say in the original post that A Phi has to force people to live in their house, which isn't true, BTW. Maybe ask your question without bashing houses if you actually cared about the answer? Just a thought.

not 100% sure but I think AGD is juniors, KKG is sophomores, DG is sophomores, Pi Phi is sophomores.

Anyone who isn't a freshman can live in house but some houses make it a "sophomore junior or senior thing" meaning that they encourage girls in that pc to live in as some sort of tradition that a lot of girls get excited for and apply
