Floors 2,3,4 and 5 are the only floors that have been renovated.
Easily the very best floors
2,3 and 4 did not have a single double room up for selection after the first two time slots on the first day
Also in rush being on floors 2,3 and 4 seem to mean you are a highly desired pnm if you are cute

I lived in tut in 2016 and there aren't only 4 floors that are renovated. I'm pretty sure 1-5 and then all the even floors were renovated by the time i moved in for the 2016-2017 school year. and i heard they continued to renovate the following summers instead of tearing the whole building down. but i know for a FACT that there are highly floors that have been renovated

I actually go here and the upper floors are not renovated at all.
Tut is being torn down in a few years so there have not been any new renovations.
5 and below are nicer it just is what it is.
Saying that it is much better to be in Tut than Presidential any day so just be happy

lol i go here too...

i heard that they're not tearing down tut anymore... actually, i heard that they were supposed to tear it down at the end of the 16-17 school year. but then they didn't because half the floors have been renovated and that they'd rather just keep renovating than tearing the whole thing down but thats just what i heard.

if they had literally any plans of rebuilding tut within the next like 5 years we would know, the city would need to get permits and approvals to rebuild.

the bottom 5 floors are renovated and then like every other floor above is renovated as well.

They didn’t tear down tut in 16-17 because there was nothing to replace it, obviously. I thought it was pretty common knowledge across campus or at least in sorority life that tut is coming down in 2020 after they finish building new tut. Why else would it have been a construction zone for the past year? They’re finishing the parking deck, then building new tut in the remaining parking lot, then demolishing tut.

If you’re interested there are articles about this that have been out since they made the decision in 2016. Just google it

Yes the bottom 5 floors might be nicer but the only difference is pretty much the common room and sinks. Trust me after a long day of walking the campus and having a heavy book bag, the last thing you want to do is take 4 flights of stairs. The higher floors are so much better. You can always get on the elevator no matter what. You might think now oh that doesn't matter but trust me after 1 month like me you will realize I should have just went 2 or 3 floors higher

Or just do floor 2
That is much faster and the best choice
The elevators take forever and stop a million times
