has suicide bidding ever worked successfully?
by: PnmHas anyone ever only listed the 1 house they would accept a bid from (even if you had 1 or 2 more houses you went to on pref) on their pref card & actually got into that one house on bid day?

I did! I had 2 houses for pref last year and couldn’t see myself in one at all. I talked to my rho chi and she told me she chose to suicide bid and it worked out for her. Only do it if you are 100% sure you would rather be a gdi than in the other house bc if the house you put on your bid card doesn’t place you high enough on their bid list you won’t get a bid at all.

Please please don't suicide unless you are 1000% ok taking the risk of possibly not getting in a sorority at all! I know way more girls who this has not worked out for than the small handful it has. Rerushing the next year will be even harder and trying to get a COB is not easy and houses don't always participate.
