So I've seen posts saying Phi Mu was the most recent house to join Old Row and that they were let in because of some drama that happened.
Is OR an actual like organization that a house has to gain membership to? Because I've always heard of it as just the houses with the largest percent of in state members.

Yes Phi Mu was the most recent but being Old Row means you’re allowed to be “sponsored” by Budweiser bc the old row logo is the old Budweiser logo. Old row houses do have more in state members because they’ve been on campus for longer establishing better alumni. Also other sorority houses won’t let them be old row bc the logo goes against their nationals. Being old row does have its advantages because of better and stronger alumni and tradition.

It is just shorthand for the houses that hang out with the traditionally top frats, those sororities are: kappa kd Tridelt xo pmu AXO AGD

I'm pretty sure Old Row the instagram thing is affiliated with Budweiser too. The Old Row insta thing has the same Budweiser logo on all their merch. Also, I heard that the guy who created the Old Row insta thing went to school at Bama... Not sure how true that is, just a rumor I guess, but if it's true it makes sense.
