Should unconnected but really solid pnms try for top tier/or or try to be a star at a lower tier/nr house?

I had ZERO connections to old row and I got in one. Just go through IWTs and see what you think. As the week goes on you’ll know what you want.

they should go wherever they enjoy their time at the most and stop focusing so much on tiers or being "the pretty girl" of their sorority.

You should try for every house. You are crazy to think you have much control over this process. There are amazing actives in all tiers of houses here on GR and on campus their are no tiers just houses all filled with great girls. Go in. Be yourself. If you are friendly, normal, and a basic good person you should be lucky enough to receive a bid somewhere.

If this is not an AXO troll trying to bump down posts t is a really sad question because it means that so close to rush you have no idea how it works.

Every year there are pnm’s who think they are ‘trying’ for this house or that house. It’s ridiculous but there are these girls every year. These unrealistic expectations cause these girls to sabotage themselves at great houses for them that would be a good fit and get cut. Either that or they drop out from disappointment.

This may be hard for some of you to believe but "lower tier" houses already have their stars picked out too and usually get them because they are normally very well-connected or important legacies. Just try to find a house that best fits you and stop worrying about being a "star." Way way more girls than you could ever believe until you go through rush and look around are "really solid PNMs."
