which states are considered southern?

This might be weird question, but some people have mentioned being OOS (South) do they mean only Deep South states or mason Dixon line?

Mostly Deep South. Maryland no, Virginia depends on the area.

Georgia, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina.

Agree with poster above, some areas of Virginia but it depends.

Florida is in the south but I would put it in a different category (houses do rush girls from here, but girls from Florida do not typically have “southern values”)

I would consider northern Florida girls southern but south Florida girls aren't southern at all

There are definitely houses that have a smaller or bigger northern presence, but I don’t know of a house that would drop you JUST because you are from a certain location.

If anything, being southern just means you will probably have more connections to Alabama.
