gpa requiremnts

I'm not really sure why there are still SO many posts about grades on here. At this point, there's literally nothing you can do to change your GPA or test scores. Grade cuts are going to be harsh this year because less girls are rushing thus allowing houses to be more selective on top of also having a new sorority colonizing. That being said, if you have anything under a 3.5 top houses are going to drop you instantly unless you're bringing something special to the table (ex. legacy status, in house connections, killer looks). And if you have anything under a 3.3 you're a borderline grade risk. Anything under a 3.0? You're basically wasting money rushing, get your grades up and rush sophomore year.

Are there exceptions to this? 100%. And the ONLY way to find out how YOUR rush is going to turn out is to just wait a few more weeks and see for yourself. No one can see into the future and tell you ABC and XYZ is going to drop you but what actives can do is give you a dose of reality.

Like I said, at this point there's nothing you can do to change your high school grades so there's honestly no point in worrying about it.
