by: pnmI really want to pledge Phi Mu and I'm like 99% sure I'm pledging them. All the phi mus comment on my insta pics so I definitely think I'm high on their list. I'm really put together and fashion conscious so I know this is really where I need to be. Can I skip the parties that I'm not interested in?

Even if your 99% sure on a specific house still leave a good taste in the mouth of every other house. Be the kinda girl who wants to be liked by all not just one. Maximize your options even if you’re 100% not positive. You never know what could happen or what could change throughout rush. Also just because phi mu commented on ur pics doesn’t mean they 100% want u, u still gotta wow them in person. Don’t be too eager just yet lol.

sorry to break it to you sweetie, but phi mu is commenting on hundreds of girls photos. Those hundreds of girls are probably thinking the same thing as you!! Surly Phi mu cant take all these pnms... If everyone thinks phi mu wants them, phi mu will be ranked highly when it comes to voting. Dont be so sure!!!!

My house's goal for rush last year was 600-700 tops....... unless you were getting 100+ comments from actives before may 1 you are not a shoe in anywhere, and even then nothing is certain

Some houses have that as one of their recruitment strategies. If they make a lot of girls feel like they're 99% sure they want their house, it makes recruitment week much easier. They just have to be nice and pretty and you fall all over yourself ranking them high every day. The problem is that when you get in, if you're not a good fit, you'll be neglected and probably end up dropping out. Look at the drop out rates of the houses. Some of the ones that you pnms think are the most popular have really high dropout numbers. It's way more important to be happy and have fun with girls that really like you. And btw, the houses that are considered top here are pretty weak nationally. So don't even consider them (if you're concentrating on prestige) unless you plan to live here forever.
