axo top grades every time

Admittedly I haven’t gone through every grade reopeort for years, but the claim is that AXO has been top in grades for eight to twenty eight years is consistently noted here.
And that is EVERY semester?
Does anyone else feel there has to be “something going on”? I mean there are 400 girls in the house, other houses come very close to their GPA, and yet AXO tops out EVERY time.
Even Bama doesn’t win the national championship every year. Lol.
Does AXO really recruit, assess talent, and “manage” their actives in a way to be top EVERY semester?
Are they consistently at or near the top? Or, always THE top on grades?
If it’s the latter, sorry, it just seems “suspicious” and a little creepy.
Honestly, I am not trying to throw shade or minimize the hard work. Just wondering if others feel this always the best grade thing seems.....”curious”.

The UNIVERSITY keeps grades. If you have a problem with them , start those accusations.
The only thing “creepy” is your continued obsession. Please please move on to people who are actually doing something wrong besides boasting about their grades. Geez.

It is of interest because it just doesn't make sense to me.
Doesn't seem they can recruit nearly 150 girls every year - smart with good test scores- and beat other houses EVERY time by .1 or .2 in total GPA.
Don't want to be in a house that is so obsessed that they are "controlling" things. And sorry, being THE top every time seems like they must be.
Don't know what but reasonable to assume things like course selection, schedules, professor choices majors, etc.
This top every time thing isn't just "happeneing". Other houses recruit smart capable girls to. I fear they seem overly "obsessed".

I can promise you that the only house obsessed with grades must be the one you are in/ mother of. You won't stop talking about it. Alpha Chi does not tell their members that they expect certain grades or monitor them. Joining alpha chi, you know they value grades just like the other top grade chapters...which leads to the burning question and shows your obsession with alpha chi:
Why don't use find the other sororities who are within hundredths in grades "creepy" as well and accuse them of things???
I do know of one sorority that monitors grades but it sure isn't alpha chi.

Time for a reality check:
1. The people who keep posting "let it go" and "wow people are still talking about this" are Alpha Chi's... Hi girls! How are you?
2. People are talking about this because it's suspicious. If MY house went around claiming they were "top for 28 years" I would go back through any available grade reports and makes sure we actually were.
3. Alpha Chi's are plastering their social media with posts that literally say "top for 28 years," like it's not like some random person came on this site and started saying that... Their own house account captioned their picture with that.
4. LET PEOPLE ASK QUESTIONS... Instead of telling them to "get over it" HOW ABOUT YOU PROVIDE SOME REASONING AS TO WHY ALPHA CHI IS LYING ABOUT GRADES.

You obviously should take this up with Panhellenic as soon as we are back on campus. Maybe go to the school newspaper. Obviously you know something that NO ONE ELSE on the entire campus knows, and you should let it be heard. Why is the school, who actually compiles GPAs for sororities, obviously lying for AXO? Right? Let's be honest. That's what you're accusing them of.
It's already been explained to you that sororities are NOT compiling grades for the list, which is something you'd know if you weren't a troll, so the only way you have any leg to stand on is if you have proof that the school is LYING for AXO. Awesome. I can't wait to read about it in the newspaper!

I never implied or meant to imply they are lying about grades.
Am suggesting it's a special kind of obsession and "some means of managing this" is going on. And questioning if I'd want to be part of it.
Are girls guided to certain classes/profs where other members have tests; do they minimize the number of pre Med engineering majors; focus on recruiting girls with top grades/tests but in certain majors; mandatory study; drop classses.
I appreciate it as an "accomplishment" but curious about the culture of the house and how they get a top grade rank EVERY time. \n\n\n\n\n

Hi, did you go to high school with girls who made better grades than other girls? Girls who took AP classes and were also well-rounded and involved in things? Were you accusing them of things then? These are the girls pledging alpha chi, alpha gam, chi o and tri delt here. People pledge where they feel comfortable.
The separation between the grades is negligible and NO house that i just listed is doing anything to push their girls, that's just the type they have.
Why would you only focus on alpha chi when there is such a tiny difference? I understand the 28 year thing can be nitpicked but you are inferring other things and only to them. And that shows that it is personal to you.

You obviously must not be in any of those houses you listed because you seem mentally feeble.
The issue, that has been stated CLEARLY, isn’t about CONSISTENTLY high grades it’s about TOP of the list every time.
To accomplish that it’s different that selecting smart girls.
As you noted many houses select smart girls. Why don’t these houses ever top the list? Have a strong semester. Manage to get the girls in a pledge class that outperform?
Not all girls with 4.00s in HS and 32 ACTs get the same grades in college and they don’t necessarily get better grades than girls who may have had 3.8s with 29s.
There are MANY variables.
Yet somehow AXO ALWAYS manages to be on top of the list. Always finds the combination that better every house by a “hair”.
Sorry you can’t see that as “surprising”. I do.
And it suggests to me there is more to the story. Not that they cheat or lie about grades, but are obsessed and “managing” things more than other houses.

To each their own.
But here is how I see it....even houses with very low rankings in the academic list as far as GPAs go have more than half of their members on Deans and Presidents list.
Telling me that if grades and academics are your focus, pretty much any house is going to have a high percentage of girls that you can relate to on those terms.
However, being in a house that finds itself ALWAYS number one in GPA suggests to me, they are more "controlling and obsessing" about something to always be top: either course choices, class choices or majors or something.
I can be smart anywhere. I don't have to controlled or obsessed over everywhere. And that's the way I see it.
I won't miss AXO and they won't miss me. Fair deal. \n\n\n\n\n

Do you think the crimson white would do a story on AXOs grades and the grade report? Seems news worthy to me. A great feel good story or an in depth exclusive to discovering rampant cheating in an OR house. They do have alums working for the university and to barely beat out everyone for 28 years seems like the unicorn.

I am sure there are CW writers in some of the houses. It would make a great story. Then we might be able to get an idea if they really do just take better girls from the start, do a better job and developing the girls they do take, or if they are cheating or gaming the system in some way.
From the reactions on here I am thinking it is a little of all 3 of the above.

Making an actual accusation against AXO or any other sorority would involve our resident troll to attend the university. We know that she doesn't.
All she has is posting dumb stuff on here, and imagining in her head that anyone actually talks about this site on campus, or that anyone away from here cares.
