How many PNMs have registered for rush 2018? I keep seeing posts about how a significantly lower number of people have already registered compared to rush ‘16 & ‘17

how will y'all taking away the upperclassmen quota affect rush for us? I'm rushing this fall as a sophomore and i have a couple friends who also are rushing as sophomores and we're really nervous now that we have found out that the quota that was going to help us out is gone...

imo, if you’ve proven that you can be successful in college and were involved or know people in the houses, a sophomore might be a better bet than a freshman who is a total wildcard (especially true in NR houses with more OOS girls)

Why so few girls? I know numbers usually go up after a national championship, but I’m pretty sure I’ve even heard people say that enrollment hasn’t even gone up from last years freshman! Seems the continuous rise in freshman is just plateauing

The University is kind of shifting focus from just boosting enrollment by way of OOS students to other things, like graduate research and working with talent they already have. The requirements for the scholarships have gotten harder, so when people do get them, they’re supposedly that much more prestigious (I know Bama isn’t a prestigious school but some of the scholarships are). This could definitely affect the makeup of rush, too. Lots of great in state girls have been going to Auburn when historically they would’ve picked UA bc it’s so OOS here. Maybe they want more of an Alabamian feel idk. But, as NR and honestly all houses, have benefited from so many OOS, I’m wondering if in state numbers will go back up and possibly alter that. Idk just a theory!

Two things are obvious about the ?mark lady
1- You're a neurotic mama
2- Both you and your daughter hate the fact she's stuck with DZ
