adpi is dropping??? (literally)

OMG so from fall 2017 to spring 2018...
ALPHA PHI'S NUMBERS DECREASED BY 185!!!
And ADPi decreased by 92???? wtf that's so odd. NINETY TWO!
the only reason numbers would decrease is because of girls graduating in december, transferring/dropping out, dropping the sorority, or getting kicked out. the average change from fall to spring (average number of girls a sorority "loses" for whatever reason) is around 30-40.
We know why Alpha Phi's numbers decreased... but why did ADPi have such a sharp decline? sus!

to be completely honest with yall... i think aopi is going to give adpi a run for its money. adpi and aopi have always been the top for new row academics. With aopi getting a new house I think itll even out the playing field. Id say the only advantage adpi has is their philanthropy round. if you think about it aopi, dg, and adpi are very similar houses.

i bet dg could turn around and capitalize on this. they haven't had a good past couple years but with the recent increase in GPA i bet they could take adpi's top girls. and honestly aopi, even theta, are threats

It's not a matter of the grade report, rather what it says. Why did almost 100 members drop/get dropped? What does that indicate? To me, I see that as something is going wrong at a high level, and it'll probably affect recruitment. How is a house with almost 100 fewer members supposed to rush at the same caliber as the other houses? They still have an extremely high GPA which should be boasted and celebrated!

If you go through the grade reports, you see that most houses have a difference somewhere between 20-40 girls from the Fall to the Spring. I'd say winter graduates account for most of these. But I think you also need to consider that houses tend to terminate a lot of girls because of grades. I know my house (top 5 in the spring '18 grade report) is very cutthroat in terms of terminating girls due to poor grades. And ADPi is probably the same exact way considering they're also top 5. That being said, a VERY feasible reason as to why there's such a stark difference from semesters MIGHT be due to grade terminations. Honestly, ADPi probably just had a lot of terminations, winter grads, and a few drops.

say you're right and numbers are dropping due to terminations. it doesn't matter. it still implies a much deeper issue. why did they have to take so many more grade risks than other sororities? why did they have to terminate so many more memberships than they usually do? and you can't tell me they had SOOO many more girls graduating than other houses did. that number can't possibly differ THAT much

Yes girls do drop for lots of reasons but not that high of a number without a scandal. But with such a high gpa I agree they just aren’t keeping up to standards so they are transferring or getting kicked out. Rules are rules so I agree that they should have to follow them. You can also have juniors and seniors who graduate in December if they came in with a bunch of credits or took summer classes which is a good thing academically for those girls. I think y’all are making this a way bigger deal than it is
