pnms- look at grade reports before rush
by: lolGoogle “Alabama Greek Grade Reports” and it will pull up the most recent grade reports for sororities. I know that to many PNMs this is important but I never knew it existed before rush.

tbh house grades are important. look back through the semesters from the past 2-3 years to get a good feeling of where the houses currently are. at the end of the day, this is college. yeah, greek life is fun but you're here to get a degree. there are some houses here that are extremely supportive and interested in the academic welfare of their girls. while there are some houses here that don't really care... i mean yeah ideally they want you to get good grades but what separates houses is that some provide copious amounts of resources for academic success while others don't. and you'll see that looking through the top handful of houses on the grade report over the past few semesters.

Thanks for this information. Looking at the reports, it has been pretty consistent for several semesters with same top five:
AXO, XO, AGD, DDD and ADPi
All the grades for the top 8-10 seem pretty close, though, with generally only about 0.2 difference top to bottom...

Don’t just look at ranks, look at the actual numbers. Houses with very close gpas will give a similar academic experience, even if there are several houses in between them on grade ranks. Houses with a large gap will be very different, even if they are next to each other in grade ranks.

I’m in a house near the bottom of the grade report and I have close to a 4.0– being in my house definitely doesn’t mean that I can’t achieve my personal best, but (and I know this sounds really mean) sometimes I wish I was surrounded by smarter people. It’s not just school smarts, it’s street smarts too. Some of these girls are just straight up dumb and make choices that would baffle any reasonable human
