aopi cuts?

I have a friend in aopi that said that they make their first round cuts on looks? Is this true for a lot of houses? I thought it would mostly be grades and resumes first round? I’m really freaked out about this considering I’m no where near a model

Everyone submits their gpa... grades and legacy status are by far easiest way to order lists before recruitment begins. Sure a fantastic PNM that makes a wonderful impression during IWTs can move up the list and a smart legacy can move down, but dont kid yourself... initial rankings of 2k PNMs starts with grades.
