There are no houses that "every" Pam wants. Some are popular and competitive, but still have strong detractors. Here's a list of houses with most appeal:
AXO - if there is a house that "everybody" wants its AXO
DDD - while I am not sure DDD is a lot of girls "top" house, it's second or third for almost everyone. Miss congeniality. Broad appeal and I think a very desired house overall.
KKG - I think KKG is next relative to broad appeal. Some may want another house first, but again few "don't want" KKG.
PHI MU and XO - while many girls want these houses for different reasons, these house start to have polarizing views. Some girls can't take XOs in state bias and its "if you don't already know us" attitufe and some just don't like PMs attitude period.
KD - beginning the stronger love it or hate it polarizing split.
AGD and ZTA - for VERY different reasons, you have a love them or hate them attitude toward these houses. There are fans and not fans. But even some of the non fans actually desire these houses deep down - just saying (which is also true of Phi Mu and KD as well).
PI Beta Phi - Pi Phi has appeal particularly to non southern OOS. And while they are mostly liked, for some girls they begin the I'd really rather not be there feeling particularly for in state.
ADPI - appealing but at the same time there are those who feel they can do "better"
APhi - perhaps the most polarizing house. Insta-hotties can't imagine not being there and everyone else will pass and make fun. A limited but "noticed" draw.
DG, GPhi, AOP - that next level of likable but "I hope I can do better" houses.
DZ, KAT - I like a lot of girls in these houses but still think, they think, they were what remained. \n\n\n\n\n. \n\n\n\n\n

I do not agree that AXO has the most universal appeal. It is a great house for some, but definitely has more of a "type" than some of the other houses. AXO has a very strong pull for the self described "good girls" because of its strong focus on grades. It also attracts more religious PNMs. One thing that I really like about this house is that it doesn't care as much where you are from or where you went to high school or what county club your parents belong to as some of the other old row houses do. But if you have more of a chill or laid back personality, you are probably not going to be Interesred in AXO. But you were valedictorian, homecoming queen and the president of your student body and the community service club, you are going to love it there!

I don't get the down votes.
Either XO or Phi Mu not happy about their placement or the lower tiers being not happy as described as "what remained".
Think it's a good summary of appeal.
Tend to agree the middle group is a bit polarizing. But ahead of the "nice" but "not so notable" houses that follow.
Also agree that AXO places high because they make most feel welcomed - even if you don't have a chance.

As an PNM from a big city in the South, I have to agree. Of course I am keeping an open mind, but there are several houses which appeal to me based on who has reached out to me and older girls who I know. I'd say right now AXO, Kappa, and Phi Mu have the most impact on me. Grades and involvement are important to me, but not religion and I don't care about being super southern.

I agree with all of that, but during rush, they are pretty good at trying to appeal to everyone and don’t come across as too competitive or too good-girl. The rest of these house reps apply during rush. Obviously some girls know house reps beforehand, but especially for OOR girls, they may more easily be able to detect certain vibes from Phi Mu, XO, ZTA, AGD, etc., than Alpha Chi.
