Reposting this comment because I thought it was very interesting

The highest return rates 2016 belonged to axo, kkg and xo. These are houses where the least cuts by pnms occurred. In other words, houses the girls liked best.

Top sororities here in rush are axo, pm,xo, kd, kkg and ddd. No order.

Top sororities here in actual life- happy girls being active- is subjective.

The reality is that if you look at who is living in the house as juniors and seniors and still active in the chapter and on campus, you will see clearly the top sororities. There are houses with long wait lists and ones who are virtually empty. \n\n\n\n\n

If we look at the seniors in so called top houses it is depressing. So many actives drop and by graduation the numbers are so low. So much for sisterhood for life. Some of the middle and gasp lower houses have higher retention numbers and have healthy graduate groups. I wish as a pnm that they had broken down the # of actives of each year in school so I could see that some connected girls stay in but most of my pledge class would drop and I would be in the house with a big clique and not many others. (higher OR)

I think you’re being a little optimistic about retention rates in lower houses. I’m in a bottom house and our retention is terrible. Gotta keep in mind that lower houses often take 40 to 50 more new members than other houses so obviously they’re gonna have more seniors.

My sorority’s senior class that just graduated lost over half but it was still a ton of girls because their PC was massive.

Also you have to remember that the pledge classes have just 4 years ago were smaller but yes people do drop over time. My house (old row) still had over 70 senior girls just graduate but I’m not sure what the normal is/how many other houses have! I do wish they would post how many of each class are in each house though.

How do you know the return rates for each house? Who is privy to this information?

Individual houses receive their own return rates so it’s not unlikely that a well connected girl or chapter advisor could figure out most houses’ rates.

Less likely is that pan exec let slip the info (if they know it) to friends but it wouldn’t surprise me.

I sure would like to know what tacky kind of chapter advisor would come on here supposedly posting return rates.

I didn’t mean that the advisor would post, but that she might tell exec or recruitment team and then obviously things would spread from there.

I don’t believe AXO, KKG and xo had the top return rates in 2016 or any other year. Call BS

I absolutely think axo has highest return rates probably every year. Kappa and then xo can’t be far behind. Curious who you think it is if not at least alpha chi.

My educated guess is that return rates are fairly similar for most old row houses and #1 varies year to year. I would be highly skeptical of anyone who claims to know return rates for houses other than their own.

I agree nobody can know and if they claim to know they are probably "spinning" and should be taken with a grain of salt. I always have heard that KD wins on the return rate game most of the time, but they rarely are considered to have had a top recruitment. So whatevs.

The OP did not repost the original post in its entirety. Whoever wrote it was not aware that we are moving to only two houses for pref and clearly does not have current info. My guess is that it is a cho o mom or alum trying to prop themselves up.

Just another reminder not to believe everything you read on this site.

An anonymous site on the internet, mostly visited by high school kids and trolls isn't the best place for information? I'm shocked.

Obviously joking. It is very said that you have to even have to remind people not to believe crap you read on this site, but here we are.
